Necessity of Air Conditioning

An air conditioner for your business offers a wide variety of benefits. The most obvious benefit is the ability to control your workspace’s preferred temperature, but there are many other advantages included with installing an air conditioner that might not be immediately apparent. For instance: higher employee productivity, higher customer satisfaction, and reduced energy usage. On top of that AC units are very easy to use. Do you feel too cold? Simply flick a switch to put your air conditioner in reverse cycle, and now you have a heater.

We are experts in Air Conditioner Supply & Install. While we are based in Lancashire, UK, we do offer nationwide services. For all our installs we use the finest, British, Vent-Axia ventilation equipment.

Heating & Cooling

Commercial Air Conditioners, like other AC systems, offer the option of cooling or heating rooms. Additionally, our ventilation system can provide cooling and heating in multiple rooms simultaneously simply by maintaining a single unit. Whether you need a Heater, or a Refrigerant, we guarantee that our systems always meet your needs.

It is common practice for heating and cooling systems to be operational simultaneously in the same workspace.

Different Types of Commercial Air Conditioners

Different types of workspaces can vary widely from one another, so it is best to know what type of AC suits you the most.

SDH can provide you with numerous options for your commercial air conditioner, based on your specific needs and budget. Different types of AC systems we provide are:

Split Air Conditioning Systems - Among the most cost-effective options is the split AC unit for commercial premises. They can be set up and connected within a day, they are straightforward to set up and are much less risky to the structure and aesthetics of your property than other types of air conditioners. If you only need to cool or heat a single room, or if your commercial building is small, a split AC is a great choice for you.

Multi-split Air Conditioning Systems - A multi-split air conditioner operates in much the same way as a single split air conditioner, only differing in the fact that up to nine internal units use only one single external unit, depending on the model. One benefit of using such a commercial unit is that the structure's exterior remains the same, as opposed to requiring additional, unattractive units.

Commercial VRV/VRF Air Conditioning Systems - VRF stands for “Variable Refrigerant Flow”, while VRV stands for “Variable Refrigerant Volume”. This may seem confusing, but both refer to the same type of a Commercial AC System. These large-scale commercial systems are great for heating and cooling large occupancy settings. To provide constant, stable temperatures in commercial settings, it is important to have controlled lows and highs due to usage difference during operating hours and closing time. The system may need to run at 120% at peak hours and at 30% when closing. The ability to oversee such a large range within capability allows for efficiency and performance to function side by side.
